Making a purchase could not be easier. Simply browse our Catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy to put them into your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Check Out" and you will be asked for the details that we need to be able to process your order.
Stock Levels & Dispatch Dates
All products on our website show an estimated dispatch day - Please note that this is an estimate only. The estimated dispatch day depends on whether the item is in stock in our warehouse or if it has to be ordered from our suppliers. Before 3.30pm, a dispatch day of "Today" means that the item is in stock here and it will normally be dispatched that same (working) day. After 3.30pm, the estimated dispatch day will automatically change to the following working day. We place daily orders with most suppliers and normally receive shipments the following working day (possibly a day later in busy periods). Our website calculates the rolling delivery time to us for each product and the estimated dispatch day is calculated on this basis. Occasionally, even the biggest supplier will sell out of popular items. In these cases, the out of stock item will be back ordered and your order split to send the in-stock items straight away. Where possible, we will place an out of stock note on the product page of our site and also on your order and send you an email to let you know. These notes can be viewed by logging into your order through your account or by clicking on the "Order Tracking" button on our home page. Input your full order number (incl. the decimal point) with either your email address or post code to view any notes and the progress of your order. Please note that we are a seasonal business and there will be periods when we will be extremely busy and notification may take a little longer. Back-ordered items will be automatically dispatched (free shipping to mainland UK*) when we receive them here unless you notify us before to change or cancel your order. If you selected payment by card, you will not be charged for back-ordered items until they are being picked for packing & dispatch. Paypal debits funds when the original order is placed which we have no control over. If you wish to check on product availability, spare-parts or other parts you cannot find on our site please call on +44 (0)2392 528932. We will be happy to check stock here and our suppliers to let you know when an item will be available for dispatch.
We attempt to be as accurate as possible and make every effort to keep pictures up to date but it is impossible to be totally accurate. Colour-tones may vary with your computer screen settings and supplier / manufacturer's specifications and prices are subject to change at any time. Many product models also have rolling changes made through the course of their model year/ model life. Therefore, UK Bike Store Limited does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free. Pictures are representative only and products are sold by their description and part number only. Our stock turnover is very high and we will normally send out the latest model unless it specifies otherwise in the product description. If a product offered by UK Bike Store Ltd. is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in an unused condition. If you are unsure, please contact us before placing your order to check the specification of the product models that we have in stock to ensure it is what you want.
All prices are in UK Pounds Sterling and include VAT @ the current standard rate in the UK except for zero rated items such as helmets, books, childrens clothing and some food/energy products. We will try to maintain the price as advertised but we reserve the right to change prices before you place an order. Orders being delivered outside the EEC will have VAT deducted from the total before any money is taken from the card and any import duties & local taxes due will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Product prices in the shopping cart exclude delivery charges. Overseas and non-standard carriage costs (See below) are dependant on the weight & volume of the order and destination and will be charged at cost. The shipping cost will be calculated automatically and shown on the checkout screen before you are asked to provide any payment details.
Payment and Security
You can pay for your order by Cash, Credit or Debit card, Paypal online, Bank Cheque drawn on a UK bank, UK Postal Order or by bank transfer. Full instructions are in the checkout section of the order process on our site. All card payments (whether on-line or by telephone) are made through our payment service provider, Sagepay (http://www.sagepay.com/). They provide secure online credit & debit card payment solutions for thousands of online and mail order businesses across the UK and are the largest independent Payment Service Provider in the country. Sagepay handles your card details on their secure server where they run extensive and on going security checks to protect both you and us against possible fraud and to obtain card authorisation. We do accept orders from overseas (Please see note re: **USA below) and in most cases, payment can be accepted by credit or debit card However we retain the right to require payment before dispatch (cleared funds bank transfer only) if we think it is appropriate due to the destination and / or value of the overseas order. Shipping and Handling
You are welcome to collect your order from our warehouse in Gosport, Hampshire during normal business hours - Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm. Please phone us on +44 (0) 2392 528932 after placing your order and we will change it to Collection.
We charge £1.99 postage & packing for orders below £10.00 (whatever size) delivered to mainland UK*. We charge £1.00 postage & packing for orders of £10.00 and above (whatever size) delivered to mainland UK*. Orders will be sent by Royal Mail First Class post or First Class Recorded post, Royal Mail Special Delivery, Royal Mail Airmail post or by domestic or international carrier. Where a signed-for mail or carrier service is used customers will be required to sign for deliveries. We are not able to leave packages without a signature and if you instruct the carrier or postman to do so then it is at your own risk and we cannot be liable for non-delivered orders. You are able to select a different delivery address where someone is available to sign for the package in the checkout when you place your order. If there is no one available to sign for the package, a notification card will be posted at the delivery address and the package returned to their depot. It is your responsibility to contact the delivery company (Royal Mail or commercial carrier) to arrange re-delivery or collection within the indicated timescale. Failure to do this will result in the package being returned to us and you will be responsible for the return delivery costs and any re-delivery charges at cost if we have to re-send the package. Please note that all orders must be inspected at the time of the delivery and any damages or shortages must be notified to us within 24hours. *UK Postage Charge Exception *UK Postage Charge Exception Due to high carriage costs of shipping heavier / larger items (generally above 2kg) to UK Highlands & Islands addresses we will charge shipping at cost. In these cases we are unable to offer our standard Â£1.99 / Â£1.00 delivery charge. We will select the most appropriate & economic service depending on weight, volume and order value and any priority service selected by the customer. We will continue to use Royal Mail at our standard shipping charge for smaller packages. As part of our environmental policy we use re-cycled materials such as used cardboard boxes, bubble wrap and other packaging material for our customer’s goods packaging. This is also another way for us to continue to maintain our competitive low prices! Any packaging that is un-useable in this way is also sent for re-cycling.
The WEEE (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment) Regulations

Much of the UK’s electronic waste ends up in landfill sites, where toxins put communities at risk. Please recycle your equipment, as failure to segregate any type of recyclable material in the home will usually result in items being disposed of in a landfill site (buried in the ground in the UK) or being incinerated.
Electronic waste is one of the fastest growing waste streams and much of it can be recycled and the resources recovered to make new consumer goods. Helping to recycle your electrical equipment In order to meet our obligations as a distributor as defined in the UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations (SI 2006 No. 3289 - 11 December 2006), we have opted to become a full member of the Distributor Take back Scheme (DTS) as defined in regulation 35 of the WEEE Regulations.

As a member of the DTS, we have made a financial contribution toward the development of the network of Designated Collection Facilities (DCFs) for WEEE instead of collecting waste items in-store. This financial contribution is described in paragraphs 83 to 88 of the UK WEEE guidance, and has been used to improve the WEEE collection facilities located at Local Authority Civic Amenity sites. Recycling facilities are now available for all customers at which you can deposit your old electrical products. This is a requirement under UK and European legislation (The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment or WEEE Directive). The aim of the legislation is to:
- Make good use of the materials that make up old electrical equipment by recycling rather than disposing in landfill
- Prevent the negative environmental effects of sending often hazardous electrical equipment to landfill
As a conscientious business, UK Bike Store Limited has chosen to group together with other retailers in joining the Distributor Take Back Scheme. Through this scheme, we have paid toward the provision of improved of recycling facilities for our customers.
How does this work in practice?
Wherever practical, old electrical waste should not be disposed of with your household waste. To remind you to recycle, all new electrical products are marked with a crossed out wheeled bin symbol.
Guarantees and Warranties
All the products in our catalogue are sourced from official importers / distributor / suppliers and are covered by the normal manufacturer's or supplier's guarantee applicable to each product. If an item is faulty at the time of purchase, please return the items to us and we will replace the item on a like for like basis and refund your return postage (Royal Mail First Class or Recorded First Class post only (we will not refund the cost of Royal Mail Special Delivery or other carrier charges). If when returning an item you choose to change to a different size or model we reserve the right to charge postage on returning the goods to you as these items will be treated as an exchange and return postage will not be refunded. These terms and conditions do not affect consumers' statutory rights.
All of our products come with a 10 day returns policy. If you change your mind and don't require the item(s) you have ordered, please return them to us, unused in their original wrapping & in a re-saleable condition within 10 days of receipt. A refund will normally be given within 10 days of us receiving the returned goods although this may take a little longer in high season when we are exceptionally busy. We do not want you to be stuck with items that don't fit or cannot be used so we are more than happy to exchange incorrectly ordered items or wrong size parts & clothes etc. If you are returning an item, the costs incurred in sending it back to us are the responsibility of the customer and we also advise that proof of postage is obtained as we cannot be liable for items lost in transit. If you return an item to us with insufficient postage, we will deduct the extra postage & associated charges made by the Post Office from your refund or charge them to the card used for the original order. We also reserve the right to charge for the postage costs of sending out replacement or exchange items back out to you.
If you are returning goods, please enclose the Returns form you received with your original receipt or enclose a full covering letter so we know who it has come from, and what the problem is. Returned goods are inspected in our returns department and/or by the manufacturer or their UK distributor and replacements, exchanges, credits or refunds are normally carried out within 10working days. Replacement goods are subject to availability either here or from our suppliers.

Gift vouchers may only be redeemed on our website and are non-transferable and non-refundable. Gift Vouchers have a cash redemption value of 0.001p and is not transferable or assignable. Any unused balance is non-refundable or transferable. If the order exceeds the voucher value the balance must be paid by credit or debit card prior to dispatch. Vouchers are valid for 6 months from the end of the month of purchase and must be redeemed by that date. Gift vouchers cannot be used to pay for UK Bike Store gift vouchers.
